As the
Statewide Hardware Asset Management Lead
, you will lead the strategic direction, governance and optimisation of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) across NSW Health.
Working at a statewide level, you'll drive asset visibility, lifecycle management, compliance and value realisation initiatives while leading the ongoing optimisation and adoption of the HAM Pro platform.
In this role, you will:
Lead
the development and execution of the NSW Health Hardware Asset Management strategy, operating model and multi-year roadmap.
Drive
enterprise-wide hardware asset lifecycle management, ensuring assets are effectively procured, deployed, maintained and disposed of in line with governance and compliance requirements
Oversee
the ongoing implementation, integration and optimisation of the HAM Pro platform to improve asset visibility, data integrity and statewide adoption.
Identify and deliver
opportunities for cost optimisation, value realisation and financial stewardship across NSW Health's hardware asset portfolio.
Provide expert advice
to senior executives on asset governance, risk, compliance, audit assurance and strategic investment decisions.
Build and influence
relationships with vendors, suppliers and stakeholders across the health system to achieve optimal commercial and operational outcomes.
Champion
continuous improvement through data analytics, automation and process optimisation, driving greater efficiency, compliance maturity and service excellence.
About You
You are a forward-thinking leader who thrives on solving complex challenges, building strong partnerships and delivering strategic outcomes that create lasting value.
With a proven background in Hardware Asset Management, you're ready to lead a critical statewide function that supports the delivery of digital health services across NSW.
Extensive experience in IT Hardware Asset Management within a large and complex organisation, with expertise spanning asset lifecycle management, governance, compliance and financial stewardship.
Strong leadership capabilities, with a proven ability to lead specialist teams, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced workplace.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with experience influencing executives, vendors and suppliers to achieve strategic and commercial outcomes.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
Demonstrated experience leading asset management platforms and optimisation initiatives, including data integrity, reporting, automation and continuous improvement programs.
Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Asset Management, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Demonstrated capability using AI and digital productivity tools to support analysis, reporting and decision-making in line with governance, privacy and information security requirements.

Please note that attendance at one of our NSW offices is a requirement of this role.
Candidates currently residing outside NSW must be willing and able to relocate to NSW if successful.
