We're partnering with a globally recognised mining technology organisation seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a high-performing Agile delivery team delivering technology that supports critical mining operations.
This role sits within a specialised mining technology environment, helping shape and deliver capabilities that provide operational visibility, fleet management, automation, equipment health monitoring and real-time decision support across large-scale mining operations.
You'll work closely with engineers, QA, stakeholders and product leadership to ensure delivery priorities are clear, refined and aligned with business outcomes.

What you'll be doing
Own and maintain the team backlog, ensuring work is prioritised and delivery-ready
Translate business needs into well-defined features, user stories and acceptance criteria
Drive backlog refinement activities and prepare work for upcoming sprints
Support sprint planning by presenting priorities and facilitating delivery discussions
Provide day-to-day clarification and decision‐making during delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and delivery expectations
Coordinate dependencies and resolve delivery impediments across teams
Validate and accept completed work against agreed acceptance criteria
Ensure quality outcomes are achieved before release
Maintain visibility of planned work, progress and delivery commitments
What you need to bring
Proven experience as a Product Owner within Agile delivery environments
Strong backlog management, prioritisation and refinement skills
Experience writing and managing user stories, features and acceptance criteria




Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and sprint-based delivery
Experience working with delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps
Ability to balance stakeholder needs with delivery realities
Strong communication skills across both business and technical audiences
Demonstrated ability to make timely decisions and remove ambiguity for delivery teams
Bonus points for
Experience working within mining, resources or industrial technology environments
Exposure to operational technology or enterprise software delivery
Familiarity with mining technology platforms and operational systems
Experience working in complex, dependency-rich delivery environments
