This is a new role for a team who are transitioning to NSW Health in line with SDPR go-live.
This role is a leadership role supporting dispensing and outpatients for Northern Beaches Hospital.
It will work in close partnership with the Chief Pharmacy Technician Manager and has responsibility for Grade 1/2 pharmacists.

Northern Beaches Hospital
What you'll be doing
To co-ordinate and lead the provision of all pharmacy dispensary activities for consumers of the Northern Beaches Hospital, including inpatients and outpatients.
This role will work closely with all sections of the pharmacy department to ensure an efficient and timely supply process and a knowledgeable and consistent level of service.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (or eligible for immediate registration) with no conditions or restrictions on practice and evidence of extensive experience in hospital pharmacy practice.
Extensive experience in managing a dispensary and skills in the provision of current hospital pharmacy practice.
Provide evidence of proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to liaise with novice and experienced health professional and external service providers.
Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems.
Able to manage resources effectively and identify opportunities for changes in workplace processes to deliver improved efficiencies.
Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision.
Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
