Sharp & Carter is partnering with a well-established professional services business to recruit a HR Consultant for their growing team.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a HR Advisor or HR Generalist looking to take the next step in their career and build capability in a consultative HR environment.
Working across a diverse portfolio of teams supporting professionals in clinical and healthcare-related settings, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities while developing your skills as a trusted HR consultant.
This role offers excellent variety, stakeholder engagement, and the opportunity to learn from experienced HR professionals within a purpose-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end recruitment activities including job advertising, position descriptions, onboarding, and candidate coordination
Provide first-line HR advice across employee relations, performance management, and workplace matters, with guidance from senior team members where required
Assist with the review and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, contracts, and compliance documentation
Support organisational reviews, HR projects, and workforce planning initiatives
Assist with employee lifecycle processes including restructures, redeployment, and offboarding
Help develop and deliver HR resources,



training materials, and people-focused initiatives
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients
Maintain accurate HR records and support compliance with privacy, employment, and WHS obligations
About You
Proven experience in a HR role, ideally within professional services, healthcare, consulting, or another regulated workplace
Strong foundational HR generalist experience with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and HR advisory activities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Keen to develop a consulting mindset and build confidence in client-facing environments
Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
