Description
Allegiance Heart & Home Care is seeking a reliable, experienced and compassionate Arabic-speaking Support Worker to provide domestic assistance services to clients.
This role is suitable for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe home environment and who is comfortable supporting older people living independently in the community.
Duties may include
General household cleaning
Vacuuming and mopping
Cleaning bathrooms and toilets
Dusting and wiping surfaces
Laundry and changing bed linen
Light household organisation
Assisting with other reasonable domestic tasks
Maintaining a secure and tidy environment
Reporting any concerns or changes noticed during visits
Completing progress notes after each service
Applicants should have:
Ability to communicate effectively in
Arabic and English
Experience providing domestic assistance, aged care or community support




Current National Police Check
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Reliable vehicle
Appropriate vehicle insurance
Current working rights in Australia
Good communication and time-management skills
Ability to work independently in clients' homes
Ability to complete accurate progress notes
Preferred
The following will be highly regarded:
Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
Previous experience working with older people
Experience providing community-based domestic assistance
Understanding of person-centred care and professional boundaries
