Remuneration as a Senior Specialist will be considered and is subject to CE Approval
Providing contemporary comprehensive Specialist Nephrologyservices at the primary facility and other facilities where applicable for optimal patient outcomes delivering a healthy community through quality care.
Providing clinical leadership, participate in quality improvement activities and provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
Lismore Base Hospital is a regional referral, Level 5 Base Hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW.

Where you'll be working
The Northern NSW Local Health District extends from Tweed Heads in the north, to Tabulam and Urbenville in the west, and to Nymboida and Grafton in the south.
We provide acute healthcare services in eight hospitals, and four Multi-Purpose Services (MPS).
Our hospitals are located at: Ballina, Byron, Casino, Grafton, Lismore, Maclean, Murwillumbah and Tweed Heads.
Our MPS facilities are located at: Bonalbo, Kyogle, Nimbin, Urbenville.

Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Nephrologist and/or specialist international medical graduate pathways
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Nephrology, at the role delineation of the service.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
Availability to participate in an on‐call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
