and collaborative culture Career development and progression Ongoing career development opportunities What Makes this Role Exciting The primary role of a TAFE SA Lecturer is to provide a quality educational service of training, assessment, and guidance to students in accordance with relevant training package objectives.
Lecturers may also be involved in the provision of consultancy services to industry/community clients.
Are You the One?
Proven fabrication and welding industry experience with minimum 5 years post-trade qualification experience and current industry currency Sound knowledge of the MEM Training Package, current fabrication industry trends, continuous improvement practices, and underpinning technical knowledge Strong practical expertise in MIG, TIG, Arc and Gas Welding, fabrication, workshop practices, and heavy fabrication environments Trade qualified to at least Certificate III, with Certificate IV qualifications viewed favourably Certificate IV in Training Assessment (TAE*****) or higher and demonstrated experience delivering adult education is desirable Welding certifications highly regarded, including Welder Certifications and Welding Supervisor Certifications (AS****, AS**** and/or ISO ******) What You Need to Know A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
