Tradelink Port Lincoln is offering the opportunity to take that next step, develop your leadership and commercial capability, and work towards taking ownership of the branch as Profit Centre Manager.
We're not necessarily looking for someone who has already done the top job.
We're looking for someone with the potential, attitude and commercial drive to grow into it.
Your opportunity You'll become involved across all areas of the Port Lincoln branch, building the experience and capability required to ultimately take greater responsibility for the performance of the business.
Working closely with experienced people within Tradelink, you'll develop your skills across: Building strong relationships with local plumbers, builders, contractors and trade customers.
Proactively identifying sales and business development opportunities.
Supporting and motivating a small, experienced branch team.
Learning the commercial drivers of the business, including sales, margins, budgets and profitability.
Becoming involved in stock, warehouse,



deliveries and day-to-day branch operations.
Helping create a proactive sales culture and identifying opportunities to grow Tradelink's presence in the local market.
Developing the leadership and commercial capability required to progress into Profit Centre management.
About you You don't need to already be a Branch Manager.
We'd particularly like to hear from people currently working as an: Assistant Branch or Store Manager 2IC or Team Leader Senior Internal Salesperson Trade Salesperson or Trade Specialist Account Manager or Territory Sales Representative Experienced salesperson ready to move into leadership Experience within plumbing, electrical, hardware, building supplies, automotive, industrial, equipment hire, construction or another trade-related setting would be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in transferable experience.
What matters most is that you're commercially minded, good with people and hungry for the opportunity to progress.
You'll ideally be someone who: Builds genuine relationships with customers and enjoys being part of the local community.
Has a strong sales mindset and naturally looks for opportunities to grow business.
Is comfortable rolling up your sleeves and helping wherever required.
Has shown leadership potential,



whether or not you've formally managed a team.
Wants greater responsibility and accountability for results.
Is curious about how a business operates and keen to develop your commercial skills.
Is looking for a genuine career pathway rather than simply their next job.
