The Role You will oversee day-to-day workshop activity, keeping work safe, efficient, and to a high standard while hitting production and maintenance targets.
What You'll Be Doing Supervising and supporting workshop staff, including trades, apprentices, and contractors Planning, allocating, and prioritising daily and weekly workloads Enforcing WHS policies, running toolbox talks, and driving a solid safety culture Monitoring equipment condition, maintenance schedules, and breakdowns Liaising with management, suppliers, and internal stakeholders Overseeing job documentation,



timesheets, and reporting Supporting training, mentoring, and performance development of the team Maintaining workshop housekeeping and compliance standards About You Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication, or a related discipline Previous experience in a Workshop Team Leader or Leading Hand role Sound knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices Confident reading and interpreting work orders, drawings, and schedules Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills Computer literacy for reporting and scheduling (desirable) If you are ready to lead a workshop team and make a real impact, we would like to hear from you.
