About the role This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of the South Australian Tourism Commission, providing trusted support to the Chief Executive Officer.
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of the executive office, partnering closely with senior leaders, board members, government stakeholders and industry representatives.
Key responsibilities include: Manage the Chief Executive Officer's diary, email and correspondence, prioritising competing requests, taking appropriate action and ensuring timely follow-up.
Coordinate executive meetings and functions, including agendas, papers, minutes, briefing notes, presentations, guest lists, catering and logistical arrangements.




Prepare high-quality executive communications, including correspondence, speaking materials, minutes, presentations and responses to enquiries.
Coordinate travel and official engagements, including itineraries, visits, speeches, conferences, bookings and expense reconciliations.
Undertake research and project work, including sensitive matters, and provide timely advice and support to the Chief Executive Officer and Director, Executive Services.
Build effective stakeholder relationships, liaising professionally with SATC staff, Board members, government agencies, ministerial offices, senior public servants and external stakeholders.
About you We're looking for an exceptional professional who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and enjoys partnering with senior executives to deliver exceptional outcomes.
You will be an outstanding communicator with robust organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities with confidence.
To be successful, you will bring: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
Outstanding communication skills, with experience preparing executive correspondence, presentations, reports and meeting documentation.
Proven ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across executive, government and industry networks.
A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach, with the initiative to anticipate needs and deliver results with minimal supervision.
