Your key responsibilities will be to:
Engage with tenants and residents to encourage participation in community programs, activities and initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of strategies that connect tenants with appropriate services and supports.
Coordinate and facilitate community engagement activities, forums, workshops and events.
Manage tenant feedback, informal complaints and appeals, supporting continuous improvement outcomes.
Develop and maintain productive relationships with tenant groups, community organisations and local stakeholders.
Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives and contribute to community partnership strategies.
Plan and manage community engagement projects, including risk assessment, monitoring and evaluation.
Work collaboratively across Housing, Assets and Community Development teams to support integrated service delivery.
Collect, analyse and report on community engagement outcomes, feedback and performance data.
Maintain accurate records, stakeholder registers and administrative documentation to support service delivery and compliance.
Requirements for success
Relevant degree, diploma, certificate qualification or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience in community engagement, community development, housing or community services.
Experience facilitating community consultations, workshops and engagement activities.




Proven capability in stakeholder relationship management and partnership development.
Experience managing projects, events and engagement initiatives from planning through to evaluation.
Understanding of government funding, contracting environments or community service systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Demonstrated analytical, problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative and responding flexibly to changing community needs.
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
