About the Role Work with a leading organisation as an experienced Senior Automation Engineer within a large-scale technology environment.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping enterprise automation strategy, driving intelligent testing and release automation and introducing AI-driven capabilities across engineering teams.
Senior Automation Engineer Position: A strategic, enterprise-level role focused on automation architecture, technical strategy and the evolution of intelligent testing and release automation capabilities.
What are we looking for?
10+ years' experience across Automation with proven experience defining enterprise automation architecture, technical standards and strategic roadmaps Strong background designing scalable test automation frameworks and automation platforms across large technology environments Experience making architectural decisions around AI-driven testing, Agentic AI, intelligent automation and release orchestration Strong understanding of C I/CD architecture, DevOps and enterprise API integrations Experience across Playwright, Selenium and/or Appium, with strong Python and TypeScript capabilities Experience across Azure, GCP and/or AWS,



with exposure to ServiceNow and enterprise release tooling Proven ability to identify and eliminate enterprise-wide testing and release debt and drive adoption of standardised automation practices Robust experience providing technical leadership, architectural governance and mentoring across multiple engineering teams Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior engineering and technology leadership Automation Engineer Positions: A hands-on engineering role focused on building and implementing AI-driven testing and release automation solutions directly within engineering squads.
What are we looking for?
8+ years' hands-on experience in test automation or automation engineering Solid experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress and/or Appium Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and Python skills Experience with mobile test automation across iOS and/or Android Hands-on experience with API testing, REST/GraphQL and automation frameworks Strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and/or Harness Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Change Management and API integrations Strong scripting experience across Python, PowerShell and/or Bash Practical experience applying AI/ML, Azure AI, GCP AI or intelligent automation to testing Experience Observability tools Contract Details Initial 6-month contracts with potential for extension ASAP start required (2 week notice max) Hybrid working environment - 2/3 days in office in Sydney, no other locations considered.
