About the role
Reporting to the Deputy CEO and operating within a dynamic work environment, the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high-level confidential, strategic, administrative, secretarial and project management support.
This role requires a proactive and commercially minded individual with strong networking and collaboration skills to build and nurture relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organisation.
Day to day, you will:
Produce correspondence, communications, presentations, Committee/Board papers and reports both of a general and confidential nature on behalf of the Deputy Ceo and other Senior Executives as required.
Provide high level administrative support including management of email and diary; ensuring the DCEO is always prepared;
Research and prepare for events, workshops, presentations and speeches
Arrange travel including flights, accommodation, and schedules
Assist with planning and project management tasks, including tracking progress, coordinating with team members, preparing reports and ensuring deadlines are met
Maintain and process confidential personnel and departmental data ensuring security of confidential information
What you will bring
A proven tack record of successfully supporting Senior Executives
Experience working with non-government organisations and community service (preferred)
Strong experience in preparing written reports and presentations
A demonstrated ability to manage time and set priorities in a fast paced and energetic environment
An understanding of budget processes and financial data, basic financial reporting and reconciliations
