On behalf of a large Federal Government Agencywe have an exciting prospect for an experienced Policy Officer to contribute to a significant national reform program.
Working within a collaborative team, you will support policy development, implementation and stakeholder engagement activities that drive meaningful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and implementation of policy, reform initiatives and projects.
Undertake policy analysis and provide evidence-based recommendations.
Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, presentations and correspondence.
Build and maintain productive stakeholder relationships.
Support and lead consultation and engagement activities.
Use data and research to inform policy advice and decision-making.
Exercise sound judgement to manage complex issues and competing priorities.
About You
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing competing priorities.
Robust stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Adaptable, proactive and able to work with limited supervision.
Collaborative team player with excellent judgement and initiative.
Desirable
Program governance and/or project planning experience.
Experience in disability reform, social policy or related sectors.
Experience supporting complex procurement activities within a government environment.
As this role is with a Federal Government Agency, applicants are required to be Australian Citizens.
