The Opportunity
Full-time, 1.0 EFT | Ongoing contract of employment
TL $90,879 - $128,887 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Moorabbin & Waverley campuses - onsite parking with close proximity to public transport
The Community and Social Services (CSS) Department delivers qualifications in Community Services, Justice, Aged Care, Leisure and Health, Disability, Youth Work and Family Violence across our Moorabbin, Chadstone and Glen Waverley campuses, as well as online.
Our programs combine robust theoretical foundations with practical field placements and community projects, preparing students for diverse roles within the community and social services sectors.

We seek an enthusiastic educator with a counselling background and an adult teaching qualification to join our team.
In this role, you will:
Teach in Family Violence, Homelessness, Alcohol and other drugs, Mental Health & Trauma.
Deliver engaging classes online (evenings) & on campus (day).




Develop and tailor teaching and assessment to diverse student needs.
Your student-focused approach and commitment to educational excellence will be key to ensuring high-quality learning outcomes.
As a Teacher, You Will
Develop high-quality teaching resources and assessments across various delivery modes and locations.
Collaborate with industry to tailor training solutions and deliver workplace-based education services.
Support student success through course advice, inductions, individual learning plans, and progress monitoring.
Contribute to continuous improvement, professional development, and compliance with VET and Institute standards.
To Be Successful, You'll Have
Experience teaching in vocational and/or higher education, with current industry knowledge relevant to the delivery of training and assessment.
Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with team members, promoting a supportive and inclusive work culture.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE ***** or equivalent predecessor or successor qualifications is mandatory.
An approved degree or diploma in a relevant vocational area, or approved equivalent qualifications, at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
