The Executive Assistant Office Manager provides high-level executive and administrative support to the principal and is responsible for the efficient management of all service points and administration areas, including the front office, student services, and first aid.
This role ensures operational needs are consistently met by proactively responding to changing priorities, supporting teachers and leaders, and allocating tasks effectively across the administrative team.
The position upholds a high-performance service culture, maintaining continuity of services during peak periods and staff absences, and ensuring compliance with Department for Education requirements.
What you will do: Proactively deliver advanced executive assistant functions, including confidential diary and email management, meeting scheduling, preparation of agendas, minute-taking, document drafting, data entry, overseeing correspondence and filling.
Experience of full Microsoft suite.
Manage complex and sensitive interactions with staff, students, families, community members, and external stakeholders on behalf of the principal,
upholding professional and public relations standards.
Use a range of administration and school management systems and processes to support decision making, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Manage the Principal's calendar and workflow Research, synthesis, and coordination of complex reports, policy documents, submissions, and responses as required by the principal or leadership team.
Ensure a welcoming, discreet, and professional front-line service as the public face of the principal's office Design presentations and materials using Canva, PowerPoint, and other relevant platforms to support Principal communications, staff meetings, leadership briefings, and community events Manage all interstate and overseas travel arrangements What you will bring: Experience in providing professional, confidential secretarial service and customer service for various school administrative functions with high accuracy and efficiency.
Demonstrated experience in providing executive administration support to the principal in a complex school environment Demonstrated expertise in maintaining exceptional organisation whilst managing competing priorities and exercising initiative and confidentiality to deliver high-quality service to the school community.
