Commercial Manager Industry Civil Construction Salary/Rate AU$****** - AU$****** per annum + Super + Vehicle Location NSW Type Full Time Commercial Manager to join their team and take a senior role across major construction Major Civil Infrastructure firm $80+ m Project in the water space Rapidly Growing firm with a pipeline of work Sydney, NSW A growing civil construction business is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team and take a senior role across major construction and infrastructure projects.
This is a hands-on, client-facing position where you'll lead commercial outcomes, manage key relationships and confidently navigate challenging negotiations.
The Role Lead commercial management across major projects from procurement through to completion.
Manage contracts, variations, claims, EOTs, procurement, forecasting and commercial risk.
Build solid client relationships and confidently handle difficult commercial conversations.
Provide leadership to two Commercial Leads and a QS .
Work closely with Construction Managers, Project Managers and site teams.
Work predominantly on site and with clients , with approximately 1-2 days per week in the office.




Exposure to major infrastructure clients including Sydney Water and Hunter Water .
About You Proven full-cycle commercial experience within construction or infrastructure.
Previous experience as a Commercial Manager, Senior Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Lead .
Strong contractual, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Ideally a Quantity Surveying and/or Law background .
Confident, commercially astute and comfortable having difficult conversations.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
