Job Description Payroll Officer – Maternity Leave Cover Contract: October **** – July **** Salary: $90,000- $96,000 + super We're looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a business in Perth's CBD on a maternity leave contract from October **** through to July **** .
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is confident across payroll processes and has strong attention to detail.
Working alongside the Senior Payroll Officers, you'll provide support across the running of fortnightly and monthly payrolls, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities will include:



Processing and managing PAYG and Child Support Managing novated leases Assisting Senior Payroll Officers with fortnightly and monthly payrolls Completing payroll reconciliations Payroll checking and quality assurance Supporting the wider payroll team with day-to-day queries and processes Ensuring payroll data is accurate and compliant About you We're looking for someone who is: Experienced across end-to-end payroll processes Highly confident with Excel Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy A genuine team player Adaptable and comfortable working in a changing environment Able to hit the ground running and contribute to a busy payroll function Desirable experience It would be advantageous if you have: Mining industry experience Experience working across multiple rosters Experience with averaging earnings If you're an experienced Payroll Officer looking for your next contract opportunity and enjoy being part of a team-oriented team, we'd love to hear from you.
