WFH + minimum 3 days from Canberra Office Working hours: ***** hours per week Purpose of the role: In this role, you will be providing specialist contract management and coordination support.
The role supports the delivery of key project management activities for land delivery projects by working closely with Program Directors, Project Managers and project teams to facilitate consistent, compliant and effective procurement and contract management processes.
You will also contribute to contract governance, reporting, compliance monitoring, capability development and continuous improvement activities.
Given the volume and complexity of procurement activities undertaken across multiple project teams, the role provides coordination, advisory, administrative and reporting support to enable successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities Provide specialist contract management and coordination to Program team.
Coordinate and support contract management activities across multiple land delivery projects, including managing procurement workflows, tracking key deliverables and milestones, providing administrative support, and assisting project teams to meet governance, legislative and policy requirements.
Review, develop and maintain contract management documentation, providing quality assurance, practical guidance and support.
Coordinate contract governance, assurance and compliance activities, including monitoring procurement activity,
maintaining procurement and contract registers, identifying risks, supporting audits and reviews.
Prepare and maintain reporting, analytics and records, including dashboards, registers, performance information and management reporting to support informed decision-making.
Build contract management capability through stakeholder engagement, coaching, development of tools, templates and guidance materials, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships with project leads, delivery teams and key internal and external stakeholders, providing trusted advice, facilitating collaboration, and supporting the resolution of contract and procurement-related issues.
Support risk management and governance outcomes by identifying emerging contract and procurement risks, assisting project teams to implement mitigation strategies.
Essential Requirements Qualifications in procurement, contract management, business, law, finance, project management or a related discipline, and/or membership of a recognised procurement or contract management professional body.
Experience supporting procurement and contract management activities within government and/or complex project delivery environments, including infrastructure, land development, construction, professional services or similar programs.
Demonstrated experience supporting contract management and procurement activities within government, public sector or similarly regulated environments.
Sound understanding of procurement legislation, policy, governance frameworks and probity requirements, with the ability to interpret requirements and provide practical advice and support to stakeholders.
Experience coordinating procurement and contract management activities across the contract lifecycle, including planning, sourcing, evaluation, contract establishment and governance activities.
Experience developing and maintaining procurement and contract registers, dashboards, reporting and performance information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and relevant systems used to manage procurement, contract and project information.
