About the Role As the Therapeutic Team Leader, you'll: Lead and develop a team of therapeutic practitioners through supervision, coaching and practice leadership.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed DFV counselling and therapeutic services.
Ensure compliance with legislation, funding requirements, organisational policies and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement through service review, quality assurance and program evaluation.
Monitor program outcomes, risk management and reporting to support effective service delivery.
Build strong partnerships with government, community and cultural stakeholders.
Support workforce capability through training, reflective practice and professional development.
Contribute to organisational leadership, strategic planning and service innovation.




Champion child safety, cultural safety and inclusive practice.
Represent the organisation through stakeholder engagement, community education and sector collaboration.

Selection Criteria: Qualifications and Experience Relevant qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum three years' experience in a human services setting.
Experience leading, supervising and developing staff and services.
Strong knowledge of DFV, child safety legislation, risk assessment and information-sharing frameworks.
Experience in child protection, quality assurance or compliance is highly regarded.




Experience in therapeutic or counselling services is desirable.
Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of DFV, trauma-informed practice, therapeutic interventions and safety planning.
Ability to lead high-quality, evidence-informed service delivery.
Sound judgement and decision-making in complex and high-risk situations.
Robust leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
