As Senior Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Associate Director, you will provide sound technical design support within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring project requirements and client specifications are fully met. You'll work on high-profile data centre and mission-critical projects, as part of a growing APAC team with genuine international exposure, strong development opportunities and a competitive package to match.

Technical design and delivery
You will compile specifications, drawings and contract documents to meet client and project requirements, maintaining the technical quality of your work and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards and regulations. You will provide electrical engineering design services for buildings and infrastructure, identifying scope and schedule changes and maintaining planning and cost control.
You will contribute as part of a multidisciplinary design team, providing technical support to ensure successful preparation and delivery of project objectives. You will liaise with clients and external design teams as needed for successful project delivery.
Client relationships and growth
You will provide information to build client budgets based on their specifications, and contribute to the growth of the business by identifying new opportunities. You will maintain and develop existing client relationships, supporting the wider team's business development efforts.
Leadership and mentoring
You will have the opportunity to lead projects and mentor junior engineers, contributing to a collaborative and technically strong team culture.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.




Chartered status, or membership with Engineers Australia, CIBSE, IET or a similar professional body, is preferred.
Proven experience in electrical building services design within a consulting engineering environment.
Robust experience delivering mission-critical and/or data centre projects.
Solid understanding of LV/HV power distribution, UPS systems, generators and critical electrical infrastructure.
Working knowledge of Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and relevant electrical codes and regulations.
Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Cymap, ETAP or PowerCAD.
Experience producing design calculations, specifications and technical reports.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
