About the Roles
n
We are expanding and seeking passionate, reliable Aviation Screening Officers to join our growing aviation security team. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of airport operations through:
n
n
Access Control & Security Screening Points
n
Customer & Visitor Screening Operations
n
n
Flexible rosters are available (day, night, weekends) across a 24/7 schedule, with both permanent and casual positions to suit your lifestyle.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Conduct passenger, baggage, and personal screening in line with aviation security regulations
n
Operate X-ray screening equipment and screening technology effectively
n
Identify prohibited items and respond appropriately to security threatsMaintain compliance with airport security procedures and SOPs
n
Provide professional customer service while ensuring safety and security standards are met
n
Complete incident reports and maintain accurate screening documentation
n
Work collaboratively with airport stakeholders, airlines,



and law enforcement agencies.

Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience in aviation screening, aviation security, or airport operations is highly regarded
n
Experienced X-ray Operators or applicants with screening qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply
n
Strong understanding of aviation security protocols and regulatory compliance
n
High level of professionalism, observation skills, and attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Ability to remain calm and follow procedures in fast-paced environments
n
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
n
n
Qualifications
n
The following are required, or willingness to obtain:
n
n
NSW Security Licence (1A minimum)
n
ASIC (preferred) or eligibility to obtain
n
Cert II in Transport Security Protection (highly regarded)
n
Current First Aid & CPR
n
White Card; Fire Warden and Traffic Control (or willing to obtain)
n
Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence (for vehicle patrols)
n
Experience operating X-ray screening systems (preferred)
n
Ability to pass police, drug, and alcohol checks.
n
n
ACESGroup can assist suitable candidates in obtaining the necessary qualifications via our internal Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
