We're looking for a motivated Assistant Finance Officer to join our Finance team and gain hands-on experience across accounts payable, commission payments, online banking and process improvement initiatives.
n
About the Role
n
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to develop their finance and accounting skills within a supportive, high-performing team.
n
Working closely with our Finance Officers, you'll play an significant role in ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of financial transactions across the business.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Assist with obtaining invoice approvals and processing invoices
n
Maintain accurate records within the accounting system
n
Assist with commission payment calculations and processing
n
Help develop and document new finance processes, including credit card procedures
n
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline finance administration tasks
n
Provide general support to the Finance team as required
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who is curious, organised and ready to learn.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
At least 12 months' experience in a finance administration or office-based finance role
n
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
n
A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership
n
A genuine interest in building a career in Finance or Accounting
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
n
A continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn
