As a Registered Nurse, you will:
n
n
Provide clinical leadership and support to care staff, ensuring safe, effective and appropriate care delivery.
n
Assess, plan, coordinate and communicate person-centred care in collaboration with care recipients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
n
Support positive care recipient outcomes through the implementation of care plans and protected work practices.
n
Deliver individualised care that promotes independence, dignity, privacy and wellbeing.
n
Monitor care recipient health,



respond to changes in condition and communicate appropriately with relevant stakeholders.
n
Advocate for care recipients, supporting informed choice and decision-making.
n
Contribute to assessments, documentation and funding claim requirements.
n
Facilitate effective clinical handovers and continuity of care.
n
Maintain care recipient confidentiality, dignity and respect at all times.
n
Ensure compliance with medication management, infection control, workplace health and safety, and quality standards.
n
Participate in accreditation activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and quality of life outcomes.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
n
n
Current, unrestricted AHPRA Registration as Registered Nurse (essential)
n
Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care
n
Experience working within a multidisciplinary team in an aged care settingKnowledge of contemporary issues in the aged care sector and relevant accreditation standards
n
Ability to provide leadership, delegate effectively, and contribute to positive care outcomes.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Sound problem-solving and organisational skills
n
Commitment to ongoing professional development
n
Basic to intermediate computer skills
n
