The Role
As a Loan Assessor, you'll be responsible for reviewing, processing and management of loan applications from submission to formal approval and liaising with external parties involved in the process (Brokers, Lenders, Valuers & Solicitors).
Key duties will include:
Accurate and timely processing and assessment of loan applications through all stages from submission to formal approval
Ensure all compliance and regulatory obligations are met throughout the loan process
Assist brokers with loan submissions through to Bluebay Home Loans and missing information requests
Prepare and issue accurate and professional communication of all types with brokers and other external stakeholders
You
A Loan Assessor must display a sound knowledge of the mortgage lending process as well as a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
The ideal applicant will possess:
At least 2 years' experience in a mortgage loan assessment, preferably with a Bank, Mortgage Manager or Non-Bank Lender.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
Be able to contribute positively to a team environment
Close attention to detail coupled with speed and accuracy
Sound judgement and credit assessment capabilities
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
