DT Infrastructure is seeking two experienced
Health & Safety Advisors
to join our growing Rail division, with opportunities available in Rockhampton and Bundaberg.
These roles will support the delivery of train station upgrades and are open to local candidates or FIFO personnel from Brisbane on a 5:2 roster.
Working closely with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, Supervisors and frontline teams, you will provide practical, hands‐on health and safety support across project delivery. You will play a key role in implementing DT Infrastructure's Health, Safety and Environment Management System, supporting effective risk management and helping ensure critical controls are understood and applied in the field.
This is an chance for an experienced HSE professional who enjoys being visible on site, building strong relationships with operational teams and subcontractors, coaching leaders and contributing to the safe delivery of complex rail and civil infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with project teams to implement DT Infrastructure's Health, Safety and Environment Management System
Conduct site inspections, audits, field observations and risk assessments to promote safe work practices
Coach supervisors, subcontractors and project personnel on HSE requirements, compliance and continuous improvement
Support incident investigations, corrective actions, reporting and injury management processes
Assist with site inductions, training, safety communications and verification of competencies
Monitor HSE performance, identify emerging trends and provide practical recommendations to improve project outcomes
About You
Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety, with higher qualifications in HSE or a related discipline highly regarded
Demonstrated experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction, rail, infrastructure or other high‐risk industries
Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation, risk management and HSE management systems




Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations and delivering practical safety coaching
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach with a genuine passion for improving workplace safety
