You will be required to
n
n
Supervise the Pre-Delivery team to ensure all tasks are completed to specified timelines.
n
Drive quality effective processes to ensure manufacturer quality standards are adhered to in the delivery of all vehicles
n
Assist with the creation of relevant repair orders and final costing/invoicing pertaining to new vehicle preparation as outlined by the service and sales departments
n
Issue purchase orders to sub-contractors and sublet suppliers as required for new vehicles
n
Ensure relations with the manufacturer are maintained to the highest standards and coordinate manufacturer requirements
n
Manage quality issues with suppliers, and work directly to get the best outcome
n
Promptly identify potential warranty concerns on vehicle arrival and work with warranty team and sales departments for speedy rectification with minimal disruption to delivery schedules.
n
Participate in new vehicle handover to customer as required by the sales department
n
Ensure customer service matters are dealt with promptly and efficiently
n
Provide support and training to pre delivery team to achieve desired customer satisfaction criteria
n
Work closely with sales and service departments, advise on the delivery times of internal tasks, and ensure efficient deliveries of vehicles.
n
Conduct team performance reviews as required
n
n
If you have
n
n
Experience as a Heavy Vehicle Technician with required trade certificate / qualification
n
Previous supervision skills / experience an advantage
n
Current HR licence
n
High level of problem solving / diagnostic skills
n
Excellent ability to impart acquired knowledge to both technicians and apprentices
n
Thrive in a rapid-paced environment with excellent time management skills
n
Attention to detail with a customer focus
n
