11th September, **** Kings Park, Sydney NSW Afternoon Shift Full-time | Permanent Opportunity Industry-leading Packaging Manufacturing Client We are currently recruiting an experienced Shift Supervisor for an industry-leading packaging and plastics manufacturing organisation based in Kings Park .
This is a great opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong focus on safety, quality, operational performance and sustainable manufacturing .
About the Role Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will lead and manage the production team across your shift, ensuring production targets, quality standards and safety requirements are consistently achieved.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the production team, plant and equipment while supporting a positive and productive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities Lead, allocate and supervise production staff across the shift Ensure production schedules and targets are achieved Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and housekeeping Monitor production processes, machine performance and changeovers Ensure routine machine, quality, guard and TPM checks are completed Record and monitor breakdowns and production downtime Support maintenance and reliability improvement initiatives Manage materials moving in and out of the production area Complete production, quality,



safety and non-conformance documentation Participate in daily production and planning meetings Assist with problem solving, investigations and continuous improvement Support employee performance, attendance and rostering requirements Lead by example and promote a positive team environment About You To be successful, you will ideally have: 5+ years' experience within plastics or manufacturing Previous experience supervising or leading a production team Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment Strong mechanical aptitude Experience working in a fast-paced production environment Excellent communication and people leadership skills Robust problem-solving and decision-making ability A practical, hands-on approach to production and team management A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality Why Consider This Opportunity?
