Position Overview:
n
We are looking for Sonographers to work weekday day shifts, Monday to Friday, at WiSE Macquarie Park. As a Sonographer at WiSE Medical, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical imaging, a solid commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
n
Provide high-quality imaging services in various settings, including wards, emergency rooms, and operating rooms.
n
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, demonstrating compassion and professionalism.
n
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
n
Manage and respond to patient inquiries and concerns, addressing any complaints with empathy and professionalism.
n
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring adherence to medical and legal standards.
n

Qualifications:
n
n
Academic Degree: Bachelor's degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
n
Certifications: Accredited Medical Sonographer (ASAR registered).
n
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Sonographer.
n




Experience working in diverse clinical settings, including wards, ER, and operating rooms.
n

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
n
High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
Ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure in a high-paced environment.
n
Proficient in medical terminology and capable of taking initiative in various clinical scenarios.
n
Reliable, dependable, and able to coordinate effectively within a team.

Compassionate and caring, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
