About your opportunity
n
The successful applicant will undertake a four-month rotation within the North Queensland Kidney Transplant Service as part of this six-month appointment. This rotation will provide experience in kidney transplantation, including the assessment and management of patients across the pre- and post-transplant pathway.

Salary range: $137,196 to $158,618 p.a. (L4-L9)
n
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
n
*****% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements
n
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association.
n
n
If appointee is not accepted into a recognised vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at the L4–L7 (PHO) level per fortnight. Upon entry into the Basic Physician Training Program via Qld Pathways, remuneration will be adjusted accordingly.
n
Overseas applicants must have completed AMC Part 1 (Written) and AMC Part 2 (Clinical) and be eligible for General Registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
n
Degree Qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution and hold Current Registration as a medical practitioner or eligible for Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
n
Successful completion of at least two years post‐registration training.
n
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
