About the role
Step into a key leadership role as
Deputy Director of Pharmacy Services - Operations and Distribution
, where you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of designated pharmacy services and help shape safe, high-quality and patient-responsive care. You'll oversee professional and support staff, coordinate workforce development and ensure pharmacy services are efficient, contemporary and aligned with SA Pharmacy strategic priorities, policies, legislation and professional standards.
Combining advanced pharmacy expertise with strong leadership, you'll guide complex professional services, optimise patient outcomes and support the education, training and development of pharmacists, interns, students and support staff. You'll contribute to medication safety, drug and pharmacy policy, quality improvement and service development, while providing expert advice through committees, working groups and state-wide and national forums. You'll also lead or support key SA Pharmacy portfolios, helping drive strategic priorities and continually improve pharmacy practice and patient care.
About You
You're an experienced pharmacy qualified and confident leader who combines strong clinical expertise with sound judgement and a commitment to improving pharmacy services and patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy and be registered or eligible with the Pharmacy Board of Austr
Bring extensive hospital pharmacy experience and strong clinical expertise
Demonstrate leadership, management and staff development capability
Drive service improvement, change and medication management outcomes
