About the Role
We are seeking a number of Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to join us on the Perdaman project.

Key responsibilities
Carry out electrical and instrumentation installation activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and work packs.
Install, terminate and test electrical cables, control cables and instrumentation cabling.
Perform cable pulling, dressing, glanding, termination and identification. Install and terminate instrumentation equipment, junction boxes, marshalling cabinets and field devices.
Install conduit, cable tray, ladder and associated supports.
Install electrical equipment including lighting, power outlets, isolators, switches and distribution equipment.
Perform instrument tubing and small-bore installation, where required. Carry out installation and connection of field instruments, including transmitters, switches and control devices.
Assist with loop checking, continuity testing,
insulation resistance testing and point-to-point checks.
Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning support activities as directed. Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument loop diagrams and cable schedules.
Complete Inspection and Test Records (ITRs) and other project quality documentation.
Identify installation defects, carry out rectification and assist with punch-list closeout.
Fault-find electrical and instrumentation systems and assist with troubleshooting.
Work closely with supervisors, engineers, commissioning personnel and other trades to coordinate daily activities.
Verify installed equipment against drawings and ensure installations meet project specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements.
Participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and JHA/SWMS reviews.
Maintain compliance with Permit to Work, isolation/LOTO and site safety requirements. Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools, equipment and work areas are kept safe and organised
Qualifications/Tickets required
WA Electrical license
LVP/CPY (within 12 months)
