What you'll be doing
Development of Far West Local Health District Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs services for Aboriginal people and their communities. To manage and support the MHAOD Aboriginal workforce through service direction cultural support and clinical supervision.
Advocate for rural issues at a state level to ensure our Aboriginal Services are advocated for and considered with changing policy, directions or models of care
Provide strategic planning advice to Senior MHAOD Management and extended Executive Leadership team in consultation with Director MHAOD and Director for Aboriginal Health and Community Relations
Provide clinical leadership in Aboriginal Mental Health service provision including culturally supportive advice, supervision and coaching to the Aboriginal Clinical Leader, Aboriginal Peer workforce and Aboriginal Trainees as well as the extended MHAOD workforce
