We are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to join our team and work on long-term remote projects across New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory.
n
This role will report directly to the Project Manager and will require you to work in remote locations that are often hot, dry and dusty.
n
The role will include duties, such as:
n
n
Interpret plans and mark out projects;
n
Convert designs for use on survey rover and machine control;
n
Work with machine control to optimise the precision and time frame that works are completed within;
n
Perform periodic surveys to check levels for conformance reporting and project tracking;
n
Undertake asbuilt surveys for project sign off and quantity verification;
n
Provide timely and accurate surveys for end of month reporting;
n
Produce clear and concise technical reports;
n
Collect, interpret and analyse survey information as required; and
n
Project administration (as required).

The successful applicant will have
n
n




A relevant Surveying qualification – Cert IV or higher (required);
n
Experience working in a similar position within the Civil or Mining industry (desirable);
n
Proficiency using a range of relevant programs and software such as AutoCad 3D Civil and Surpac (desirable);
n
Experience with GPS, Trimble Total Station and Trimble machine guidance (desirable);
n
The ability to work in remote locations in a FIFO/DIDO capacity; and
n
Current driver's licence.
