ReChurch is a growing, multicultural church serving the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne.
We began as a church plant called Roxburgh Park Community Church some 30 years ago – we're still young. Having been in temporary facilities until the Covid years, we moved online, then relocated to our current building, which is being rapidly paid off.
ReChurch has a strong track record of mission within our community, of generosity and compassion. The church has a strong local community profile. Our body life has developed around a clearly defined disciple-making culture which teaches and encourages the proper and fruitful use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A major ministry emphasis of healing and restoration has emerged and is one of ReChurch's distinctives that accompanies evangelism and mission. Many lives have been restored over the journey.
We have a robust focus on prophetic ministry that strengthens and motivates, and there is also a gifted and thriving worship ministry, and a budding youth ministry with local community connections.



We own a charitable body called Compassion North Inc. (a registered Public Benefit Institution) through which we outreach to the community via a Foodbank and the oversighting of two Men's Sheds.
We are looking to have conversations with experiencedpeople who feel called by God to participate in His Kingdom work in our setting with the support and participation of a strong Eldership, a committed group of leaders and others who are settling into ReChurch as their church home.
Expression of Interest Conversation
You will be a person we would like a conversation with if you:
Are a passionate follower of Jesus;
Have undertaken formal theological education and leadership formation;
Can demonstrate a resourceful and innovative leadership story of your own, at senior pastor level (essential);
Be a team-builder and leader developer;
Can demonstrate skills, passion and experience in personal spiritual and leadership formation and discipleship;
Can communicate the word of God effectively with conviction and without compromise;
Lead with a Godly discernment.
