About the role
Applications are invited from
Assistants in Nursing
with Hospital experience
to join our dynamic team. You will be a part of a highly dedicated team that provides the best patient-centred care for our Palliative Care patients.
These permanent full-time and part-time (3 days/week) opportunities will be in our Palliative Care ward located at Braeside Hospital in Prairiewood. We offer applicants a stimulating workplace and a supportive team environment within the unit. Our staff are valued members of the multi-disciplinary team and are encouraged to participate in all learning and development activities.
HammondCare is a NSW Health-affiliated organisation all NSW Health transferrable entitlements will be recognised.
About you




At least one year's relevant hospital experience, or a second-year student in Bachelor of Nursing with at least one Clinical Placement and a desire to work in a Palliative Care ward.
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Effective written and oral communication skills
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system
Time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex setting
