About the role
Headstart is seeking Senior Clinical Psychologists and Registered Psychologists to join a thriving multidisciplinary team. As a psychologist, you will work with clients across the lifespan, from toddlers through to older adults, presenting with a diverse range of concerns including autism, anxiety, trauma, sleep difficulties, behavioural challenges, and feeding-related issues. You will work within a well-established multidisciplinary practice comprising 26 Psychologists, 8 Speech Pathologists, and 4 Occupational Therapists. With a strong referral base and existing waitlist, you will be joining a busy and supportive practice with immediate opportunities to build a rewarding caseload. While clinicians work independently with their own caseloads, they are part of a highly collaborate and supportive team culture.
Full-time employment is preferred; however, part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidates.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality psychological services to clients across the lifespan
Work independently with your own caseload
Participate in clinical supervision and peer consultation with experienced colleagues
Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Engage in multidisciplinary learning and collaboration
Complete case notes, report writing, and preparation within protected time
About you
We welcome applications from experienced and early career psychologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality psychological services and are keen to contribute to a positive team environment.
You will have:
Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility to obtain one)
A Masters or PhD in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification (for Clinical Psychologist positions)
Current National Police Clearance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience and/or training in Autism Spectrum Disorder (desirable)
Experience in behavioural management and support (desirable)
An interest in working with diverse client presentations across the lifespan (desirable)

Remuneration
Registered Psychologist:
$90,000 - $110,000 per annum (FTE)
Clinical Psychologist:
$100,000 - $140,000 per annum (FTE)
Salary will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
