Birdon is seeking a System Safety Engineer to support defence shipbuilding. You will guide system safety requirements, perform risk analyses, and ensure design integrity and regulatory compliance across the lifecycle.

Adaptable base locations include Port Macquarie, Sydney, or Perth. You will work with engineers and stakeholders to define safety constraints, assess proposed changes, and produce SARs and safety case documentation.
