A Unique Rotational Opportunity
This role has been specifically designed for midwives seeking variety, challenge and professional growth. Through dedicated rotational blocks, you will gain experience across two specialised clinical environments, allowing you to build a broad and highly transferable skill set while becoming a valued member of both teams.
Birth Unit
Work alongside a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team providing care throughout labour, birth and the immediate postnatal period.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Support women through labour and birth
Care for women with both low-risk and complex maternity needs




Strengthen your intrapartum skills and clinical confidence
Provide compassionate and individualised care to women experiencing pregnancy loss and termination of pregnancy services
Antenatal Ward & Assessment Unit
Develop advanced skills in acute maternity assessment and the management of complex pregnancies within a supportive team.
You'll be involved in:
Caring for women admitted with complex and high-risk pregnancies
Managing women undergoing induction of labour
Providing ongoing monitoring, treatment and multidisciplinary care
Assessing and managing unplanned maternity presentations through our open-door model of care
Supporting women and their families experiencing pregnancy loss with compassion, sensitivity and clinical excellence
Providing care for women accessing termination of pregnancy services in a respectful, supportive and woman-centred environment
Developing advanced assessment, triage, communication and clinical decision-making skills
Rotations will occur in defined blocks, allowing you to fully integrate into each clinical area, build strong working relationships and develop confidence across the continuum of maternity care.

Gain confidence managing both routine and complex maternity presentations
