Cater Care is seeking a Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations at one of our education sites in Tallebudgera. In this role, you will drive high-volume bulk cookery for up to 500 guests in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
n

Prepare and present quality meals across cafes, residential halls, and event catering functions
n
Efficiently lead and support high-volume bulk cooking operations
n
Partner with the Head Chef to manage daily kitchen activities
n
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and food hygiene regulations
n




Provide prompt, high-standard service with a positive attitude
n
Keep all kitchen areas clean, fully stocked, and well-organised
n

Desired Skills and Experience
n
What We Are Looking For
n
n
A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or an equivalent certification)
n
Prior experience in a Sous Chef or similar role, with education catering or event/function experience highly valued
n
Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team as well as operate autonomously
n
Strong communication skills, exceptional time management, and high attention to detail
n
A strong commitment to consistently preparing high-quality food within a structured, fast-paced culinary workplace
n
