Centre Director – Little Farm Early Learning
As Centre Director, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and operation of the service. Little Farm has been created to feel very different from a traditional childcare centre, with extensive outdoor spaces, gardens, animals and opportunities for children to connect with the natural world and their community.
Key responsibilities
Lead, mentor and develop the team
Create a positive, respectful and accountable workplace culture
Maintain high standards of education, care, compliance and safety
Support strong relationships with children and families
Manage staffing, rostering and day-to-day operational requirements
Maintain regulatory and documentation standards
Address issues early rather than allowing them to escape
Communicate confidently with families, educators and management
Support enrolments and build robust connections within the local community
Ensure the service runs smoothly without requiring constant direction or micromanagement
About you




Diploma or Bachelor qualification approved for Early Childhood Education and Care
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
Previous leadership experience within an early childhood service
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage service operations
Strong leadership presence and sound judgement
Confident making decisions and taking responsibility for them
Organised, proactive and solution-focused
Ability to communicate directly, professionally and respectfully
