Are you a compassionate and dependable female Disability Support Worker who is confident supporting people with complex physical care needs?
n
Nextt is seeking female Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a participant living with a leg amputation. This is an opportunity to provide meaningful, hands-on support while helping the participant maintain their comfort, dignity and independence.
n
The role is 2:1 support, with two Support Workers rostered to each shift.
n
About the Role
n
You will assist with a range of daily care and support needs, including:
n
n
Personal care and continence support
n
Complex bowel care
n
Mobility assistance and manual handling
n
Medication assistance
n
Diabetes support
n
Pressure care and wound management
n
Domestic assistance and household tasks
n
Following Behaviour Support strategies and individual support plans
n
Supporting the participant to remain as independent and comfortable as possible
n
Completing clear and accurate shift notes and communicating with the wider support team
n
n
Experience in complex care, personal care, manual handling or continence support will be highly regarded.

Monday to Sunday:

7:00am – 9:00am
n
2 Support Workers per shift
n
Additional shifts may become available
n
n
We're looking for Support Workers who can provide consistent and dependable availability.

Pay Rates
n
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
n
n
Base hourly rate: $*****/hr
n
Afternoon shift (ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday–Friday): $*****/hr
n
Active Night shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday–Friday): $*****/hr
n
Saturday: $*****/hr
n
Sunday: $*****/hr
n
Public Holiday: $*****/hr
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
We're seeking people who are:

Experienced or confident in providing personal and complex care
n
Comfortable with manual handling and mobility support
n
Confident assisting with continence, bowel and pressure care
n
Able to follow individual support plans and Behaviour Support strategies
n
Reliable, professional and respectful
n
Solid communicators who understand the importance of accurate documentation
n
