Coppin Centre is seeking enthusiastic Food Services Assistants to join our team on a permanent or casual basis.
n

You'll assist with meal service, support a welcoming dining environment, and help ensure residents receive nutritious, well‐presented meals.

You'll help ensure residents receive nutritious, well‐presented meals while supporting a warm, welcoming dining workplace.
n
Responsibilities:
n
n
Assist with meal preparation, plating, tray service, and food and beverage delivery in accordance with resident dietary requirements.
n
Set up dining areas and provide excellent customer service to residents.
n
Maintain food safety standards, including the safe handling, storage, monitoring of expiry dates, and documentation of food and beverages.
n
Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
n




Support compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, OH&S; requirements, and accreditation standards.
n

Who You Are:
n
n
Experience working as a Food Services Assistant, preferably in an aged care setting.
n
Knowledge of texture-modified diets, dietary requirements, and food allergens.
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
n
Reliable, organised, and committed to safe food handling and hygiene practices.
n
A genuine passion for supporting older people and enhancing their dining experience.
n
n
Mandatory Requirements:

n
Current Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
n
Proof of Covid‐19 vaccination (three doses) and annual Flu Vaccine encouraged
n
Food Handling Certificate
n
n
