What this role is all about
We're looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to join our Adelaide team and support the delivery of a range of projects across South Australia and nationally. You'd be joining a highly capable technical team with a solid culture, genuine senior expertise, and a growing cohort of up-and-coming engineers.
How you'll contribute day-to-day
Undertaking hydraulic and other computational calculations
Taking projects from feasibility and design through to construction and handover
Assessing existing and new buildings against the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
Implementing system designs in accordance with Australian and international standards
Preparing technical specifications and technical drawings using Autodesk Revit and Bluebeam
Liaising with authorities and relevant stakeholders
Building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and authorities
Attending meetings, site inspections, and supporting construction-phase activities
What sets you up for success
Holds an Australian-recognised engineering degree
Is a registered member of Engineers Australia (preferred)
Has Australian citizenship or permanent working rights in Australia
Is disciplined in quality assurance to ensure delivery excellence
Brings strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and associated principles
Strong understanding of hydraulic services documentation and coordination requirements.
Experience working on Defence projects will be highly regarded.
Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.




An existing Baseline security clearance is desirable. If you are not currently cleared, you must be willing and eligible to obtain Defence security clearance.
