Delaware North Australia is hiring a casual Kitchenhand to join our team at Melbourne Airport. As a kitchenhand, you will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness, order and efficiency in the kitchen.
Must be available to work the evening shift.

What you will do?
Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
Conduct temperature and quality checks, effectively managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance, displaying a strong commitment to meeting Food Safety standards
Support kitchen team members in establishing and sustaining an organised and efficient workspace
Take on hands-on cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, waste disposal and management, operating a commercial dishwasher, and handling cleaning chemicals




Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen setting, showcasing excellent food presentation skills
More about you
Previous experience in a sandwich hand or kitchenhand, preferred
Food Safety Certificate
Passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment
Flexible availability across a 7-day roster, working the evening shift
