About the Role
As a Clinical Trials Coordinator - Scientific Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the delivery of clinical trials and research activities within a dynamic healthcare environment. Working closely with investigators, sponsors, patients and multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure studies are conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), research governance requirements and relevant regulatory frameworks. This rewarding role will see you manage a broad range of clinical trial activities including participant coordination, data management, sample processing, ethics and governance compliance, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of research studies while supporting participants throughout their clinical trial journey. With a strong focus on quality, accuracy and patient-centred care, you'll help bring cutting-edge research opportunities to our community.
About You
You are a highly organised and motivated professional with a passion for clinical research and improving patient outcomes. You hold a relevant qualification in Science, Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Clinical Trial Management,



or a related health discipline, and have experience or a strong understanding of clinical research processes and regulatory requirements. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Your strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgement and commitment to quality enable you to contribute positively to patient care and research outcomes. A confident communicator, you can build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including research participants, investigators, clinical teams and trial sponsors. You are comfortable working with research databases and Microsoft Office applications and have strong administrative and data management skills. Most importantly, you are committed to ensuring clinical trials are delivered safely, ethically and efficiently while providing an outstanding experience for participants.
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Trial Coordinator is an integral member of the clinical trials team with a role that encompasses both trial (project) management and patient coordination. Responsibilities include patient care, planning, implementation, coordination, data management, billing and reporting of clinical trials.



Key purposes of the role include ethics and governance processes related to setting up and undertaking clinical trials as part of multinational and national studies according to Good Clinical Practice, whilst ensuring the safety and protection of trial participants and the integrity of trial data collected.
