Summary:
The Cyber Security Manager will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organisation's information systems and data against cyber threats. This position is essential for ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical information assets. The successful candidate will lead a team of security professionals, develop security policies, and implement robust security measures to protect the organisation's digital infrastructure in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive cyber security strategies and policies.
Lead and manage a team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance and support.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
Monitor security incidents and respond to breaches, ensuring effective incident management.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all systems and processes.
Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends, threats, and technologies.
Provide training and awareness programmes for staff to promote a culture of security.
Prepare and present reports on security status and incidents to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in cyber security or information security roles.
Proven experience in managing security teams and projects.
Robust knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO *****, NIST).
Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
