About the Position:
n
Our client is looking for an Associate (3+ years post-admission) with strong back‐end construction experience to join our clients' team in Construction, Projects & Infrastructure.
n
This role sits within a Partner‐led group recognised nationally for construction and engineering disputes, acting on some of the region's most significant infrastructure and major private projects. The practice supports a broad client base including builders, head contractors, principals, subcontractors, developers, suppliers and construction insurers.
n
Day-to-day, the work may include:
n
n
Construction and engineering disputes (including complex, document‐heavy matters)
n
Contractual claims: variations, EOT/delay, defects, payment claims and quantum issues
n
Security of payment and related adjudication processes
n
Negotiations, mediations and dispute strategy from early‐stage through to resolution
n
Drafting high-quality advice, pleadings and correspondence under tight timeframes
n
n
The successful candidate will enjoy hands‐on exposure to meaningful matters, strong mentoring, and the chance to build trusted client relationships in a team that values both excellence and balance.

Key Requirements:
n
n
3+ years post-admission experience in construction disputes (back‐end focus)
n
Strong grasp of key construction law principles and dispute processes
n
Excellent analytical ability and clear, concise written communication
n
Confidence managing competing deadlines and delivering polished work
n
A client‐first mindset with a genuine interest in relationship building
n
