We are excited to offer this opportunity for passionate, caring, and committed Registered Midwives (RM's) to join our team at Singleton Maternity! Our successful candidates will be working with women, families and the broader multi-disciplinary team to provide antenatal, birthing, and postnatal support to our community. This is an autonomous role where you will be the go-to RM on shift, allowing you to form closer connections to the women in your care. If you're an experienced RM looking to advance your skills in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you!
You won't be working alone. The Maternity team at Singleton Hospital are a small but close-knit team with a famously positive culture that works well together with the GP Obstetricians to provide a high level of care to their patients.
You will be supported by the team as well as other Maternity Unit Managers in hospitals throughout the region, as well as the Clinical Midwife Consultant (CMC) and the WHAM Network.
Singleton, NSW, is a charming town nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley, known for its warm community spirit and picturesque rural landscapes. It offers a peaceful lifestyle with a strong connection to nature, surrounded by vineyards, national parks, and the nearby Hunter River.
The Maternity Unit at Singleton Hospital provides Level 2 & Level 3 care to their patients and provide shared care with the GP Obstetricians. Due to the small size of the town, you will enjoy getting to know the women that you care for closely, in turn being able to provide the highest level of care to them.

Requirements:
Current registration as a Registered Midwife with Authority to Practice with AHPRA.
