What's the role?
Deliver primary health care, acute care, and emergency response services
Provide triage, first aid, stabilisation, and patient evacuation
Administer medications and vaccinations in line with clinical protocols (CARPA)
Conduct health checks, screenings, and follow-ups




Support chronic disease management and preventative health programs
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and Aboriginal Health Workers
Participate in an on-call roster
Mentor and support trainees and junior staff
Is this the right role for you?
Contribute to clinical reporting and continuous quality improvement (CQI)
Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice)
(or Certificate III Aboriginal Health Work – Clinical or higher)
Eligibility for AHPRA registration
Demonstrated primary health care experience, ideally in a remote setting
Robust clinical and assessment skills
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Experience using health information systems
Current manual driver's licence
